A BALLYHOGUE man on a charge of assault at a local G.A.A. grounds has had his case further adjourned.

Before Judge Patrick Clyne at Wexford District Court was Gerard Cullen, of Galbally, Ballyhogue, charged with assault causing harm at Glynn-Barntown G.A.A. Club on April 21, 2012.

Judge Clyne told defence solicitor Timothy Cummings that he wanted him to explain all of his options in the case.

Mr. Cummings said prosecuting Garda Aisling Ferriter was not available for the case on the day. A line of communication between the parties are open at the moment, he said, requesting one further adjournment.

Judge Clyne said he would adjourn the case to September 16 for hearing.
