Wexford Triathlon Club is introducing pacers into the field for its Rosslare 10K which takes place on Easter Monday.

It's a mostly flat and fast course and is suitable for all abilities with many walkers, and joggers as well as faster competitive runners. Wexford Tri Club say that if you have a goal to get a Personal Best in under 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 or 70 minutes they can help get you there.

The Rosslare 10K has grown steadily over the years with almost 300 people taking part in 2016. This year the club hope to exceed that number again. You can register online to get ar free hi-viz technical t-shirt. On the day registration is also possible, but a t-shirt is not guaranteed.

It's a fun day for all the family - while the race itself is open to over 18's only, once the main event is under way, a kid's fun race takes place on or near the beach. Afterwards participants can enjoy tea or coffee and a spread of sandwiches, cakes and buns all provided by a dedicated bunch of club members.

The organisers say they want to thank the sponsors of the race - Kelly's Resort Hotel, St Margaret's Caravan and Camping Park, Only Natural, Robert Hassey Electrical, AES and Profitsflow.com

Entry online is on active.com and is open until midnight on Friday, April 14 (Good Friday.) Registration is also available on the morning of the race from 9.30 a.m.
