Adult education plan is officially launched

LEARNING For Life, Co Wexford VEC's Adult Literacy Service's three year strategic plan, was officially launched in the Talbot Hotel last week.

The plan, which was facilitated by external consultants Martin Fitzgerald and Gillian Wild, will guide the activities of the Adult Literacy Service in six key priority areas over the next few years.

Learning For Life was developed in collaboration with tutors, staff, management and learners within the service.

Cllr Jim Moore, Chairman of Co. Wexford VEC and the Adult Literacy Board, introduced the plan which was officially launched by Clare McMahon, CEO of Co Wexford VEC.

'If you or someone you know would like to return to education and build on your skills, the service offers both oneto-one and group tuition on a confidential basis,' said a spokesman for the Adult Literacy Service.
