Businesses briefed on budget at lunch

WEXFORD businesses were briefed on the 2011 Budget in The Talbot Hotel last Wednesday.

Members of the local business community gathered for a lunch-time briefing, organised by PwC and Wexford Management Forum, the day after Finance Minister Brian Lenihan outlined his €6 billion savings plan in Leinster House. Postponed from its usual breakfast slot due to the inclement weather, the briefing was once again a very informative affair as expert Billy Sweetman, who leads the Wexford team at PwC Ireland, gave a detailed analysis of what the Budget will mean for businesses.
