Businesses left without power after outage

MORE than 1,200 ESB customers, including business users in Wexford town, were left without power for almost two hours on Thursday.

The ESB said the power cut was the result of a fault in a 10 kva line at Mulgannon.'It was a fault to do with an earth cable, it was not as a result of an accident,' said the spokesperson.

The power cut took place just after 11.30 a.m. with supplies back to normal by 2.30 p.m.
