Camera Club exhibition Remanded in custody

PLEADED NOT GUILTY TO SERIOUS HARM CHARGES

A CASTLEBRIDGE man who has pleaded not guilty to two charges of serious harm has been further remanded in custody.

Thomas Hendy, of Ballinagore, Castlebrige, Co. Wexford, appeared before Judge Gerard Griffin at Wexford Circuit Criminal Court, where he pleaded not guilty to intentionally or recklessy causing serious harm to Finbar Nolan at 10 Patrick's Place, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, on February 2, 2010.

He also pleaded not guilty to causing serious harm in the course of a dispute by producing a broken bottle, capable of inflicting serious injury on same occasion.

Defence Counsel, Colman Cody, said the accused is in custody on this matter. He asked for a further remand in custody to January next. He said a jury would be required.

Judge Griffin remanded the defendant in custody to the January sitting of Wexford Circuit Criminal Court.
