Charges struck out against duo
A FATHER and son who caused trouble outside a Wexford nightclub have had the charges against them struck out.
Tony Lacey (45), of The Dirr, Bridgetown, and Chris Lacey (22), of The Dirr, Waddingtown, were charged with causing a breach of the peace at Centenary Stores, Charlotte Street, Wexford, on February 15 last. Evidence had been previously heard in the matter, which saw the men refused entry to the nightclub and get into an argument with staff there, by Judge William Earley, who said that it both men produced €150 donations to the Jack and Jill Foundation the charges would be struck out.
The court heard last week that the €300 had been produced and the charges were struck out.
