Classic and sports car show to be held again in Barntown
AUTO ENTHUSIASTS from all over the south east will be putting the pedal to the metal to make it to the annual Classic and Sports Car Show at Slaney Manor in Barntown on August 11 and 12.
After the great success of last year's show in raising funds for the RNLI, the owners of these fine examples of automotive art will be polishing down their vehicles and getting ready to show them off in order to raise funds for this year's charity - New Ross Community Hospital.
For anyone interested in supercars and classics of the past and present there will be a fantastic display from all the heavyweights of the automotive world such as Ferrari, Lotus, Porsche and classics like Morris Minors and Minis as well as a unique opportunity to see a display of race and rally cars.
On Sunday August 12 the show will be open to the public from 12 noon when there will be live music, a barbeque and an exciting afternoon of fun and entertainment in the beautiful setting of Slaney Manor.
Entry to the event is free and there will be ample parking.
For drivers of any classic or sports cars that would like to join in on the Saturday run please come along and/or display your car at the show on Sunday. Text or telephone 085 1477633 for further information.
