A bench warrant was issued on Tuesday February 7 at New Ross District Court for Dylan Kelly (20) with addresses at 4, Upper George Street, Wexford, and 57 Sli na Slaine, Enniscorthy.

The warrant was issued when Kelly failed to appear to answer a charge of the unauthorised taking of a vehicle belonging to Brendan Webster at High Street, Wexford on January 11, 2013; with smashing the window of Goodfella's Barbers, 48 South Main Street, Wexford on January 3, 2014; with the unlawful possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis for sale or supply at Westgate Park on May 22, 2014.

He was further charged with possession of cocaine, methylenedioxymethylamphetamine (ecstasy) and chloropyrrolidinopriopiophenone at Clonard Village for the purpose of sale or supply at Clonard Village on May 8, 2016 and with the unlawful possession of drugs at Tesco car park on September 10, 2013.

He was also charged with driving without insurance and with driving or attempting to drive while under the influence of an intoxicant at Westgate on March 17, 2016 and with driving without insurance, driving licence and NCT, failing to produce these documents and driving without tax at Ross Road, Enniscorthy on Jan 10, 2015.

Acting for Kelly solicitor Tim Cummings said he had previously acted for Kelly but said he hadn't received any instructions from it.
