STAFF AT Wexford Creamery bid farewell to three colleagues who had between them allotted almost 100 years of service.

At a recent function in the Talbot Hotel Michael Cleer, Ger Scully and Elaine Byrne were given a special send off before they formally retired.

Michael Cleer, Newtown Road, had worked at the creamery the longest. Michael worked for 42 years as a cheese grader or a cheese 'grater' as he has been mistaken for in the past!

After 34 years Ger Skully, Castlebridge, has retired from his post as Production Supervisor while Elaine Byrne from Cleariestown worked for 19 years as a technical assistant.
