Danielle's Missy Fortune aims for top title
Wexford could be home to the new Miss Pinup Ireland as a local woman is one of the finalists in the competition which takes place at the Annual Dublin International Tattoo Convention on August 18.
Danielle Reck (32), aka Missy Fortune, has qualified as one of six finalists following months of online voting.
The mother of one is well known in Wexford, having tread the boards with local theatre groups for many years and, most recently, taken part in the RTE Amateur Drama Circuit in Wexford Drama Group's production of 'Proof'.
A fully qualified aerial instructor, she teaches adult aerial hoop and kids aerial at Lioness Aerial Fitness in Drinagh.
She has placed many times in pole dance competitions over her performance career.
She also teaches a burlesque style dance class at Lioness in which she advocates body positivity, helping students to build confidence.
As part of the competition, Danielle will be asked to perform or exhibit a special talent which can be anything from singing to pole fitness, performance art, etc.
The winner will receive a golden ticket to compete in the Miss Pinup International Finals in Bristol in October.
