THREE new bike stands have been erected in Wexford town as part of the council's hopes to get us out of our cars and on to two wheels.

Cllr. Davy Hynes said he had raised the issue at a recent traffic management committee and the council had responded by building bike stands by O'Hanrahan Station, in McCauley's Car park and at Selskar. Another traffic issue currently being dealt with was signage at the roundabout at the bottom of Summerhill. Town engineer Greg Innes is looking at making warning signs easier to see following recent accidents.
