Decrees of €12,000 awarded by judge

TWO CASES AGAINST GOREY COMPANY

TWO decrees, totalling over €12,000, have been awarded against a Gorey glazing company.

The separate civil actions brought against Weatherglaze Architectural, of Clonattin Road, Gorey, were heard at Wexford District Court.

The first action against the company, now trading as South East Commercial Glazing, was brought by Dublin-based Oxley Keartland in respect of goods and services supplied, but never paid for, in 2008.

The defendants were not represented at the sitting and Judge Donnchadh O'Buachalla granted a decree for the full amount owed, €6,074.03, plus costs.

A separate action was taken against the Goreybased business by DSV Road, a transport business based in Naas, County Kildare. Again, it was uncontested.

DSV Road were granted a decree for €6,131.23 plus costs in respect of unpaid bills for the importing of windows and window parts from countries around Europe, including Germany, Estonia and Sweden.
