Defendant sold drugs to friends
GARDAI searched the home of a defendant and found €600 worth of cannabis, Wexford District Court was told.
Before the court was Dean O' Neill, Apartment 2, 16 Upper George's Street who pleaded guilty to the offence which occurred on February 4, 2010.
A Garda witness said the defendant admitted having the cannabis for sale or supply. Siobhan Dunne, solicitor said her client was buying cannabis in bulk and selling it to his friends. It was not drug dealing in the classic sense. The garda accepted that he was not making big money out of it. Judge Donnchadh O Buachalla adjourned the case for a year in the hope that he would not come to the attention of the gardai in the meantime.
