Drinagh woman charged with public order offences
A WEXFORD woman has been remanded on bail until February 7 on two public order charges.
Margaret Connors, Rosemount, Drinagh is charged with being drunk and a danger to herself and others and engaging in insulting and abusive behaviour at Selaskar, Wexford on January 1. The defendant was due to appear in court earlier this month in respect of these charges but failed to appear. She was brought before Wexford District Court last Monday on foot of a bench warrant.
She told the court that she had not appeared on a previous date because her mother was ill.
She was remanded on bail until February 7. A condition of her bail is that she sign on daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Wexford Garda Station and resides at Rosemount Drinagh.
