Driver gets three-year ban
A MAN who started drinking heavily following the death of his mother was given a threeyear driving ban at Wexford District Court last week.
David Zarobczynyki (24), of 4 Ard Uisce, Whiterock Hill, admitted to drunken driving at Whitemill Road on February 9 last.
He provided a breath sample to Gardaí that revealed a concentration of 120 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of breath – more than three times the legal limit. Zarobczynyki, who has been living here for four years, apologised for his behaviour. The court heard he had been drinking heavily at the time, following the death of his mother, but has since got it under control.
He was fined €400 and given the mandatory three-year disqualification from driving.
