A farm of 112 acres in Duncormick has been placed on the market through the offices of auctioneers Kehoe and Associates.
The property which includes an old farmhouse, yard and buildings at Lacken, Duncormick will go under the hammer at the offices of the auctioneering firm in Commercial Quay on April 4 with a guide price of €7,500 per acre.
The farm close to Duncormick village is in a coastal location with extensive road frontage and is near the R736 regional road which links Duncormick, Baldwinstown, Bridgetown and Carrig-on-Bannow and Wellingtonbridge.
The farm is approached by a private, tree-lined avenue and the land is described as being of good quality and suitable for a variety of uses.
It is laid out in one block, divided into 11 fields. The house is in disrepair and requires refurbishment.
There is an attractive farmyard with stone outbuildings and various agricultural sheds, including a six-span hay shed with a double lean-to.
