Duo charged with heating fuel theft
AN ALLEGATION that he stole central heating fuel from a Wexford house brought David Doyle (45) of 2 Wygram Heights, Wexford to the District Court on Monday. Told the court that he was not working and nominated solicitor Ed King to represent him.
He stood accused of theft, trespass and criminal damage at 26 Mount Prospect on January 8 early this year. Garda Donal Doyle alleged that €500 worth of oil was taken and that another €500 worth of criminal damage was caused by the escapade.
Judge Gerard Haughton ordered the prosecution to provide copies of all statements and the case stands adjourned to September.
Also accused was unemployed Michael Sinnott (52) from 91 Ferndale Park in Wexford, accused of criminal damage and theft at 26 Mount Prospect on January 8. Solicitor Ed King was assigned to the case under the free legal aid scheme before the matter was adjourned until September.
