Eurosong 2014

The five songs to be performed in Ireland's Eurosong final on the Late Late Show this Friday night.

Don't Hold On

Sung by Patricia Roe, who was a runner-up at Ireland's Eurosong in 1992 and 1993. Written by Patricia's sister Valerie Roe, the PR guru who is also a mentor this year.

The Movie Song

Sung by former X Factor star Eoghan Quigg, from Derry. Written by Karl Broderick - the man behind Donna and Joe McCaul's 'Love' which failed at the semi-final stage of the Eurovision in 2005. Mentor: Mark Murphy, tour manager for Olly Murs and other X Factor acts.

Heartbeat

Performed by contemporary trad band Cann-Linn, featuring Kasey Smith, former member of Louis Walsh and Kan Egan's girlband Wonderland and a beaten Eurosong finalist last year (with 'Kiss Me There'). Written by mentor Hazel Kaneswaran (of Dove fame) and a trio of Swedish songwriters who specialise in writing Eurovision entries.

Be Mine

Sung by Dubliner Andre Mann who reached the live shows in The Voice of Ireland last year and was a Eurosong runner-up to Jedward's 'Waterline' in 2012. Songwriter and mentor is Kilkenny native Cormac Battle, the 2FM presenter and frontman of Kerbdog and Wilt.

You Don't Remember Me

Sung by 24-year-old Dubliner Laura O'Neill, an X Factor boot-camp surviver from 2011, and written by two experienced songwriters, Don Mescall and Lucie Silvas. Mentor is Billy McGuinness of Aslan.
