A Ferndale resident has voiced her desperation to be relocated following two random attacks on her council property in recent weeks.

The local woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, said that she awoke to find her car burned out two weeks ago. Only weeks previously, the windows of her jeep were smashed while the boot was damaged. She said that she is 'fed up' of being targeted in her home.

'We've been on to everyone that we can think of,' she said. 'The Gardai are doing their best but until we get their reports, we just have to stay here.'

The woman added that her five children are experiencing problems in the area, saying that they 'can't go outside without getting shouted at'.

'We need to get out as quickly as possible before things escalate.'
