Final music for wexford concert on sunday

For its final concert of the 2017 season, Music for Wexford is presenting a recital by Duo Chagall featuring Gillian Williams on violin and Arun Rao on cello with the pianist Lance Coburn in St Iberius Church, Wexford, on Sunday, November 19, at 3.30 p.m.

The programme will comprise works by Robert Schumann and the Hungarian composer Mathis Seiber.

Gillian from Dublin and Arun from France met when both were students at the Guildhall in London. Since then they have performed as Duo Chagall all over Ireland.

Lance Coburn has established himself as a charismatic performer since winning first prize at the Tomassoni International Piano Competition in Cologne in 2001. Lance is a piano lecturer in the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin and gives masterclasses internationally.
