Finalist

A COLLEGE STUDENT from Rosslare Harbour has been selected as a finalist in a national competition encouraging people to turn recyclable waste into new products.

Henry Daly, a student at Dublin Institute of Technology is in the final of rx3 'Trash to Cash' competition run by the Department of the Environment.

His project is 'Ceramcrete', an innovative replacement for non-structural concrete made from 80% recycled ceramics such as bathroom suites, tiles and tableware and 20% Portland cement.
