Former Faythe school pupils open millennium capsule
SOME SCHOOL memories were reignited 10 years on for past pupils of the Faythe School returned to open a time capsule.
The sixth class in the millennium year filled a large shoebox on their last year of school to remind them of their primary years.
Some wrote down what they thought might happen to them in the intervene decade.
The time capsule was rescued by teacher Monica Crofton during the new building at the school recently.
The seal had never been broken on the box, so she gathered all of the sixth class last weekend to open and explore the contents.
The girls had a chance to explore the new Faythe school last weekend while enjoying the emotional experience of returning to the class where they all became friends to begin with.
