Gardai seize stolen caravan worth €20,000
garda immigration officers at Rosslare Eurport seized a stolen caravan worth more than €20,000 after it arrived on a ferry from the UK last Thursday (May 11) evening.
Inspector Denis Whelan said the two men in a vehicle towing the 2015 'Hobby Three Premium' caravan were unable to provide 'passport' documents for it.
A chassis number was obtained and following liaison between the garda stolen car unit and Europol it was discovered it had been stolen in Sweden in April,' he said
The driver and passenger, both Dubliners in their early 20s, were both arrested on suspicion of being in possssion of stolen property.
