Grant awarded to CBS primary school for contributing work

The CBS Primary School, Wexford have been presented with a €500 grant in recognition of their vital work and contribution within the local community.

Aldi's Trinity Street, Wexford were delighted to announce that the CBS Wexford is the latest organisation to benefit from their Community Grants Programme 2017, where the money will go towards the schools essential services.

David Roche from Aldi presented the cheque to Kim Grennan and Kasia Bobrowska of CBS Primary School, Wexford.

Group Buying Director for Aldi Ireland Finbar McCarthy said: 'The work and services provided by the CBS Primary School in Wexford are crucial to the local Wexford community.

'We are delighted that our Trinity Street employees have chosen to support the organisation. We are proud to support the vital work done by charities and not-for-profit organisations.'

Now in its second year, the programme provides each Aldi employee a chance to nominate a charity, community group or organisation within their local area. Nominated charities are then assessed according to a defined selection criteria with the overall group receiving €500.
