Guilty plea in dangerous driving causing death case
A 34-YEAR-OLD man has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing the death of a woman at Adamstown almost two and a half years ago.
Robert Eustace, of Bachelors Hall, Hayestown, was before Wexford Circuit Court last week, were he admitted the offence that caused the death of Aoife Kelly on September 18, 2008.
His defence counsel, Mr Patrick McCarty SC, asked for an adjournment to March 29 next to allow for the preparation of a psychological report and doctor's report. He also told the court that the defendant had asked him to apologise to the family of the deceased. The defendant, he said, is 'embarrassed' by what happened.
Judge Alice Doyle granted the adjournment to March 29.
