Things got a little creepy in Wexford library recently when Dr Michel Dugon introduced kids to the exciting world of bugs.

Dr. Dugon, who presents the popular RTE children's programme 'Bug Hunters', joined a group of enthusiastic children for a hands-on workshop featuring an array of colourful and exotic insects. Everyone was given the chance to hold or touch various unusual creatures, including tarantulas and scorpions.

The workshop was organised in the library as part of this year's Summer Reading Challenge, the theme of which is 'record-breakers.' To tie in with the theme of the challenge, Dr. Dugon linked many of the bugs to record-breaking feats.
