Judgement against hurler
A JUDGEMENT for over €500,000 has been granted against a former Wexford hurler.
The High Court registered a judgement of €530,326 against Paul Codd, of Askinfarney, Clonroche, on September 9 last.
The plaintiff in the case was David Deasy, of Barry's Timoleague, Co Cork.
Mr Codd, a farmer, was a member of the Wexford hurling team for ten years before his retirement from inter-county hurling and remains a key member of the Rathnure team.
