Two Wexford teenagers have been chosen to take part in a prestigious National Youth Theatre project in Dublin.
Shannon Smythe and Madi O'Carroll from Wexford town, both aged 18, will spend the month of August in Dublin rehearsing for a production of 'Gulliver's Travels' at the Peacock Theatre.
The budding Wexford actresses are among a 16-strong cast drawn from youth theatres around the country.
Madi represents County Wexford Youth Theatre while Shannon was nominated by Bui Bolg.
