Man (42) appears to face drugs charges

A 42-YEAR-OLD Taghmon man appeared on drugs related charges before Judge Patrick Clyne at Wexford District Court.

Noel O'Brien, of Ardinagh, Taghmon, faced two charges of possession of drugs for sale or supply at Ardinagh, Taghmon, on January 11, 2011. Supt. Patrick Carolan said the value of the drugs came to €670 and €4,270.

Defence Solicitor, Ms Collette Culleton, told the court that the defendant is 42 years of age and is now completely drugs free.

When the gardai called he was fully co-operations. He regretted the trouble and embarrassment he had caused his family.

Judge Clyne said he would put the case back to February, 2014, and that should O'Brien not come to the attention of the Gardaí in the intervening period, he would deal with the matter then.
