Man in court for spitting in face of female Garda
A MAN who spat in the face of a female Garda has been told by Judge Ó Buachalla that he must come up with a proposal to make amends.
Neil Rossiter, 20 Shanna Court, Coolcotts, is charged with engaging in threatening and abusive behaviour and failing to compy with a Garda direction at Wexford Garda Station on August 7.
Supt. Kevin Gralton told the court that the defendant had been in custody on the night and on his release he became disruptive and spat in the face of a female Garda.
The defendant had been drinking on the night in question and had no recollection of the incident.
Judge Ó Buachalla adjourned the case until October 4 to allow the defendant to 'come forward with certain proposals that will reflect the seriousness of the situation'.
