'Mid Life Crisis' motorbike run to roll again
BIKERS from all over Wexford will gather in Castlebridge on August 5 for Castlebridge Midlife Crisis Motorbike Club's annual motorbike run and field day. The venue has changed this year to Bridge Rovers Soccer pitch and registration will take place from 12:30 p.m. with the event getting under way from 2 p.m.
This year's route will take in Gorey, Ferns, Enniscorthy and Wexford finishing up in the Porter House Castlebridge where a hot meal will be served. The price of entry for each bike is €20 and will include food, live music and free entry into a mega draw for a Yamaha 400 motorbike.
There will be lots of entertainment both at the soccer pitch and back at The Porter House where the music will start at 5 p.m. and run until late. The main act on the evening will be Rock n Roll/Rockabilly maestros Tom Cat and The Zodiacs and members of the South East Rock 'n Roll Club will also be in attendance.
If you're feeling brave, tattoo artist Kevin Kileens will also be present on the day and for the younger rockers, Festiface Face Painting can provide something less permanent. There will be secure parking at the event for anyone attending and bikers are being urged to 'park it up and rock it out!'
