Having previously gone down a storm at the Wexford Spiegeltent Festival, Ireland's favourite irreverent comedian Dylan Moran makes a welcome return to Wexford for a special show at The National Opera House on Sunday, July 7.

Lantern Presents are delighted to welcome Moran back with his new show 'Dr. Cosmos' which will offer the Navan native's unique take on love, politics, misery and the everyday absurdities of life, all served with poetical panache from one of Ireland's finest comedians.

A comedian, actor and writer, Moran debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe in 1996 and became the youngest ever winner of the Perrier Award. He went on to co-write and star in the hit comedy 'Black Books' alongside Bill Bailey, which won two BAFTAs.

Among Moran's other notable screen appearances are Notting Hill, Calvary, Shaun of the Dead and Run Fatboy Run.

He has also toured the world on numerous occasions with his stand up show, his last one 'Off the Hook' taking in 149 dates across the globe.

'We're delighted to have Dylan back,' said Brian Byrne of Lantern Presents.

'It was a really great show last time in the Spiegeltent and we've no doubt that this one will be every bit as good.'

Tickets for the show went on sale on Thursday and people are advised to book fast to avoid disappointment.
