Motorcyclist killed in crash on the N11

A man in his 40s has been killed in a two vehicle accident on the N11 between Enniscorthy and Wexford town.

The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon.

The man who was driving a motorbike was fatally injured when he was involved in a collision with a car.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to University Hospital Waterford where a post mortem will be carried out.

The road at the scene of crash has re-opened following an examination of the area by Garda forensic collision investigators.
