A YOUNG Taghmon woman intends to contest three motoring charges, Wexford District Court has heard.

Ciara Furlong (22), of 6 Joseph's Street, Taghmon, is charged with driving without reasonable consideration, driving without L plates being displayed and driving while unaccompanied by a fully qualified driver at High Street on December 22, 2009.

The prosecuting Garda, John Rackard, was in court last Tuesday, but Ed King, for Furlong, said she plans to contest the charges.

Mr King applied for a Gary Doyle Order, which will see the State provide copies of all statements and documents relating to the case, and Judge Donnchadh O Buachalla set a hearing date of December 7, 2010.
