National Learning Network provides a friendly and relaxed learning environment

NATIONAL LEARNING Network is the training and educational division of the Rehab Group. In Wexford this service is based at The Faythe and accommodates 48 students on 4 courses.

National Learning Network serves the training and educational needs of those in the community who have a disability , illness or special needs and need extra supports. All training is person centred. This unique system of training delivery enables the students to reach their potential in a manner which takes account of personal, social and educational needs. Students are facilitated to work at a pace that is achievable for them.

At National Learning Network staff concentrate on the ability of the student not the disability, and believe that all members of our community are entitled to equal access to high quality learning and education programmes. Many of the students have experienced some degree of marginalisation, so enrolling with NLN is very often a step forward, a new beginning, a whole new concept. Courses on offer at the centre include: Pathways - Specific Skills Training with FETAC Level 5 Certification

Newstart:-Introductory Skills Training with FETAC Level 4 Certification

Employer Based Trainig-with on and off the job components - FETAC Level 5 Certification All above courses are funded by Fas Options: - Rehabilitative training and Life Skills Course funded by HSE.

Manager of the Centre – Mary Nolan is pleased with the progress of NLN as a Specialised Training Provider within the community. 'The positive achievements of our students to date are very rewarding.' she says "and the majority have achieved employment or progressed to further education, and have benefited greatly from our additional supports.
