No IDA visits made by foreign investors

IF THE latest figures announced by Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton are anything to go by it would seem that Wexford is far down the list of priorities for prospective foreign investors.

These figures indicate Wexford received no visit either this year or last year from prospective foreign investors.

These visits are sponsored by the IDA in a bid to attract jobs to Ireland through foreign direct investment.

Commenting on the lack of visits by prospective foreign investors to Wexford, the IDA said: ' The primary focus is on winning investments to the Gateway of Waterford, and the hub locations of Kilkenny and Wexford.'

As of yet there are no plans mooted for visits by prospective foreign investors to Wexford later in the year.
