One more chance to see Bridge Drama

BY David tucker

Bridge Drama have added an extra date to their run of 'The Cripple of Inishmaan,' by Martin McDonagh in Wexford's Arts Centre. The play will now show from Wednesday, October 28, to Sunday, November 1, at 8 p.m. nightly.

The year is 1934 on the island of Inishmaan and interesting news is thin on the ground. Then Johnnypateenmike (Myles Sunderland), the local gossip, announces that they're making a Hollywood film on neighbouring Inishmore and young Cripple Billy Claven (Brian Sheridan)for once is paying attention.

The Cripple of Inishmaan is a hilarious comedy/drama which sees eccentric island characters trade stories to within an inch of their lives while a young man tries to make sense of who he is.

This brilliant comic masterpiece comes complete with suspense and a great deal of heart.

This production is directed by Trish Doyle and tickets are now on sale at or phone 053 912 3764.
