Pierce to light up Wexford with intimate candlelit gig

PROVING that he truly is a work of art, the legendary musician Pierce Turner will appear at Greenacres Gallery this coming Saturday night, October 29 at 8 p.m.

Pierce who divides his time between his native Wexford and New York, will perform with his 'Very Small Orchestra'.

Expect to see him tickling the ivories of the beatuiful grand piano in Greenacres and giving the audience a flavour of his up and coming album.

A Pierce Turner show is something to experience. It is an energetic blend of truly unique songs and amazing stories about Wexford and New York.

The gallery will be laid out in candlelit cabaret style and wine and beer will be served on command.

The Rough Guide to Irish music had the following comment to make about Turner -' there is no-one in the wide world of music quite like Pierce Turnerl; a unique visionary and the owner of a voice that drips emotion.'

The music presenter John Kelly calls him 'the Wexford Legend.'
