Prime site outside town could sell for up to €2.7million
A prime residential site of 27 acres on the outskirts of Wexford town is expected to be sold for up to €2.7million.
The site at Coolballow will go under the hammer at an auction in the Talbot Hotel on July 6 at 3 pm.
The sole selling agent is John Keane, auctioneer who described it as 'probably one of the finest sites that I've ever been asked to sell'.
'It's an elevated site, really top of the range with fantastic views over Wexford Harbour, Rosslare Harbour and the south east coastline.'
The land has frontage onto both the Coolballow Road and the road at Pembrokestown (at the top of Whiterock Hill) and is minutes from Wexford town with close access through Sinnottstown Lane to the Rosslare Road and the roundabout system.
'This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire probably one of the best sites ever to come on the open market on the outskirts of Wexford town. This is one of the most sought after residential areas in Wexford,' said Mr. Keane.
The site is zoned residential under the Wexford Town Development Plan.
The guide price is €80,000 to €100,000 an acre which at the upper end of the scale would convert to €2.7 million for 27 acres.
