Puppies dumped on freezing cold night

NEW HOMES NEEDED FOR LOVEABLE DOGS

THREE puppies were rescued last week after they were dumped at the top of Forth Mountain in sub-zero temperatures.

Brigid Cullen of the WSPCA said the female puppies were found dumped at the old quarry on Forth Mountain on Wednesday morning.

'The temperature that Tuesday night was as low as minus five. I have no idea how they survived the cold,' said Brigid.

The person who found the little puppies brought them to the WSPCA.

'They are now in foster care and have had their first vaccination. All three puppies are in good health and are very lovable,' said Brigid.

The WSPCA will soon be looking for homes for the puppies and Brigid said they will be small to medium sized dogs. Contact 087-1220416.
