Ramsgrange sentencing is adjourned
A YOUNG Ramsgrange man who has admitted robbing his local Post Office had his sentencing adjourned when he came before Wexford Circuirt Court last week.
Simon Murphy (23), of Haggard, Ramsgrange, had earlier pleaded guilty to stealing €3,379.86 from Ramsgrange Post Office on January 21 last year, and with having an imitation firearm at the time. He also admitted stealing vehicle registration plates from a car in New Ross on January 20 or 21.
When the case was called before Judge Barry Hickson last week, an application was made by the prosecution to have sentencing adjourned to November 6.
With no objection to the application, Judge Hickson granted the application.
