Road works at Ferrycarrig Hill

By Maria Pepper

There will be no climbing lane on Ferrycarrig Hill for the next two weeks to allow local authority road works to take place.

Wexford County Council started drainage improvement works on the N11 on Monday and will continue working on the road for the next fortnight.

Northbound traffic has been reduced to one lane with the climbing lane out of action for the duration of the works. Southbound traffic will be unaffected.

The works will be in place from 8 am to 6 pm daily. According to a Council spokesperson, the work is weather dependant and the time frame for the work may be liable to change as a result.
