A KILKENNY based film maker has just finished shooting a short film on the final journey of the Waterford to Rosslare train.
Film maker Colm Sheenan finished up filming for this ten minute film last Saturday, during the final journey of the train.
Colm set the film at the station in Ballycullane in order to access the history and heritage of this train through the eyes of the rural community.
The film has now moved into the editing stage and it is hoped to be completed by the end of October, when it will be sent to festivals around the country to be screened. Plans are also afoot to have the film made available online.
