Despite the atrocious weather from hurricane Ophelia and Storm Brian, the Spiegeltent Festival has, so far, been a great success.

Only two shows were rescheduled due to bad weather conditions - Wexford Artists and Corner Boy, who will both perform on Monday, October 30, along with Wexford Male Voice Choir.

'When the electricity went last Thursday, Corner Boy played a few songs on the quay and it turned out to be a lovely evening,' said Brian Byrne from Lantern.

Most shows have sold out, and tickets are selling very quickly for The Riptide Movement, Freak Fantastique, Lisa Hannigan, Hudson Taylor, The Strypes, Sharon Shannon, Wexford Artists, Corner Boy and Wexford Male Voice Choir.

'Our most unusual show of them all is Freak Fantastique and I would highly recommend people buy tickets for it,' said Brian. The show is a Halloween Cabaret-style Ball, with performances from Grim Squeaker, Kitty LeRoux Snake Charmer, Foxy PCox Burlesque Dancers, Lords of Strut, Lioness Performers and much more.
