Small cannabis find
A YOUNG Wexford man found with a small amount of cannabis has had his case adjourned for a year to see how he behaves himself in the meantime.
Patrick Taylor (21), of Flat 4, 18 Upper George's Street, was present when the Gardaí searched the flat on February 4, 2010. They found a small piece of cannabis resin and a bag of cannabis herb in the living area, worth a total of about €60.
Taylor told the Gardaí it was his and intended for his own use. Ed King, for Taylor, said there was enough to make about six or seven cigarettes.
Judge Donnchadh O Buachalla adjourned the case for a year, until September 6, 2011, to see how Taylor gets on in the meantime. He indicated that if he Taylor keeps out of trouble the charges may be disposed of without a conviction being imposed.
