Stars of West End on way to Wexford

AN ENTERPRISING teenager is bringing the West End to Wexford.

Seventeen year old Sam O' Shea from Coolcotts has set up a company called Performance Workshops Ireland .

The new business aims to organise professional training for people of all ages interested in the performing arts.

It will bring West End performers to Wexford to teach workshops in all aspects of performance.

A fifth year student in St. Peter's College, Sam has appeared on stage with Wexford Pantomime Society, the School of Ballet and Modern Dance, Wexford Light Opera Society and Oyster Lane Theatre.

He hopes to pursue a career in performance when he leaves school.

The first series of workshops will take place over the weekend of November 9 to 11 at the Wexford School of Ballet and Modern Dance in John Street and the workshops are suitable for all age groups from 11 upwards.
