Struck out

A CURRACLOE motorist had his speeding case struck out at New Ross District Court after claiming he received no notice about the offence.

Daniel Hanley (57) was accused of travelling at 152 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on July 10 last year. at Camaross, Adamstown. He admitted the offence but said he received no notice to pay a fine, just a summons to come to court on account of the fine not being paid.
