The search is on for panto performers as audition date is set

It's that time of year again when the Wexford Pantomime Society begin their search for performers for this year's Christmas panto.

Children and adults of all ages are being sought to play their part in the exciting new production of "Snow White and the Babes in the Wood". The pantomime, which was written and directed by Thomas O'Leary, is a combination of Grimm brother fairytales including the Grimm brothers, Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood.

'This will be the biggest cast ever and we hope to see lots of new faces turning out for our auditions this year,' said Thomas. 'We know that Wexford is a hugely talented County, which fits well with our long standing motto: a show for the people of Wexford, performed by the people of Wexford.'

The introduction and script read-through will take place in Dun Mhuire Theatre on Friday September 18 at 8 p.m. Adult auditions will be held on Friday September 25 at 7 p.m., while child auditions will take place on Saturday September 26 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.
