Trucks will soon be stopped driving down Mary St
Trucks will soon be prevented from driving down Mary Street.
Last year Cllr George Lawlor has requested the council to prevent trucks from travelling down the street because the large vehicles were unable to turn right at the bottom of the street forcing them to reverse back up the road.
District manager Angie Laffan said that the signs for the area had been purchased for some time and the council is looking for a suitable place to erect them.
She said that they had identified a suitable spot but it was on private property and the owner had refused to allow the signs be erected.
